For Lindsay and Justin Graham, Babcock Ranch had them at hello.

The Grahams visited Babcock Ranch in the summer of 2018 and knew immediately it offered something different they had been looking for. At

the time, the family was living in Fort Myers, in a neighborhood that wasn’t conducive for daughters Olivia, now 6, and Oakley, 4, to play outside. “I wanted a community where the girls could have a lot of friends and ride bikes, similar to how I grew up.”

Olivia was also approaching school age and Lindsay, a former teacher, was intrigued by the Babcock Neighborhood School and its project-based learning.

When the Grahams, their daughters and two mini-Australian shepherds, Skyler and Ruby, moved into their Babcock Ranch home, only a little over 100 residences were occupied – now the hometown has blossomed to more than 1,400.

As Babcock Ranch continues to grow so does the Grahams’ circle of friends.

“I’ve never seen a community like this one,” said Lindsay. “It’s just amazing how everybody jumps in to help. We have a great village here.”

The Grahams enjoy family movie nights, food truck Fridays and attending the town’s many events, immersing themselves in the numerous activities Babcock Ranch offers to help residents live their happiest, healthiest lives. The family stays active by hitting the trails, spotting deer, birds and other wildlife.

“We also love the golf cart parades and riding throughout the neighborhood,” Lindsay shared.

The family’s golf cart is the preferred mode of transportation for the quick jaunt to Publix and other businesses in the new Crescent B Commons shopping center. The Grahams enjoy watching Babcock Ranch grow as more businesses and residents discover their new hometown. The girls are also excited by the construction of Babcock High School, knowing they’ll one day be students there.

“Because we came in so early, we’ve really seen the town come to life and it’s exciting to see what’s coming next,” said Lindsay.
